Radiation oncology is an exciting and constantly changing field, as new technological advances offer better forms of treatment and improved quality of care. At the same time, this environment creates challenges for physicians who must maintain high quality assurance standards throughout the entire patient treatment process.

Just as a patient must understand the risk factors of potential treatment options, so must the physician understand what situations can lead to potential litigation.
