Q. Why do I need to gather claims history for the past 10 years?
A. Your past history of claims, or evidence that you have not experienced any claims, may be predictive of future claims. In addition, as the program gathers more extensive claims history from even more practitioners, we will have greater credibility in our actuarial studies in determining the rates for each specialty.

Q. Must I be a member of a national professional society to apply?
A. No. However, radiation oncologists who are members of ACRO receive a 5% discount on their National Medical Professional policy. With rare exception, this discount is greater than the $375 membership fee for ACRO. If you are not a radiation oncologist, ask your professional society to develop a relationship with National Medical professional by endorsing our company.
